So much of our life challenges come from hurts in the past.
This is the once-in-a-lifetime chance to open your heart to love and self-forgiveness - by learning to forgive others - and letting go of the pain of the past to be able to embrace the joy the future can bring.
These hurts have been buried and repressed for decades. We will bring them to the light of day, and let them blow away in the ocean breeze, using a combination of meditation, hypnosis, breath work, tapping, guided visualization, restorative yoga, massage and body work, water exercise, and much more.
And incredibly, you will actually enjoy the journey in this healing and nurturing environment in your island paradise..
Isla Mujeres means The Island of Women, and women immediately feel its healing and nurturing energy the minute they set foot on the tiny island.
More than 800 years ago, Mayan women made the perilous pilgrimage across 7 miles of water to pray and make offerings at the foot of the temple to the Mayan goddess Ixchel.
Ixchel was revered as being the moon goddess, and responsible for abundance, fertility and childbirth, medicine, the crops, and even rainbows.
Today, you will revel in the amazing nurturing power you will feel when you visit Isla. And you will feel its powerful pull when we visit the temple ruins perched high about the turquoise water where the Caribbean meets the Bay of Cancun.
You will enjoy water aerobics in the gentle warm surf on Playa Norte, rated as one of the top 10 beaches in the world by Conde Nast, as we watch the island wake up.
You will enjoy peaceful and relating Yin yoga under the stars to lull you into a deep and restful sleep.
You will enjoy basking in the sun and the bathwater-warm gentle surf of the Bay of Cancun.
And you will enjoy walking down the beach at night, gazing at the star-studded night which follows the most amazing sunsets you will ever experience.

Get to Know Isla Mujeres…
What can I say? I love Isla Mujeres. It is a tiny white sandy beach island just 4 miles long, and less than half a mile wide, situated 7 miles due east of Cancun, where the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico meet. It the most easternly point in all of Mexico, and thousands of locals flock to Punta Sur on New Year’s Day to watch the sunrise first touch the shores of Mexico over the ruins of the ancient Mayan temple to the goddess Ixchel.
Isla was inhabited by the Mayans more than 1,000 years ago, and the temple was already in ruins in 1509 when the Spaniards first landed on the island. The name Isla Mujeres means “Island of Women” named after the small carved statues and figurines brought from the mainland by female pilgrims who canoed across the Bay to petition Ixchel for healing, fertility, and love.
Isla has been continually inhabited since 1623, more than 300 years before Cancun was even established back in the 1980s. Today there are about 10,000 people who live on the island (no more than 1,000 of them expats), and about 20,000 tourists who visit on any given day. It is a small intimate community, with the look and feel of a quiet Mexican beach town, despite being considered one of the best tourist locations in the world.
Just a few years ago, Isla was a sleepy fishing village with sand streets and wooden shacks, but now is growing up to become one of Mexico’s rising star tourist meccas. It is famous for its breathtakingly beautiful Playa Norte, or North Beach, rated as one of the world’s best beaches by Conde Nast and Trip Advisor, and acclaimed as the best beach in all of Mexico. Come visit and you will see why!
